50. Redbud Valley Nature Preserve
One of Tulsa’s better kept secrets, you can find this beautiful example of nature on the northeast outskirts of town. Walk its mile long trail and you’ll see fascinating caves, rare plantlife, and natural springs.
51. The Center of The Universe
A strange phenomenon exists in downtown Tulsa: Literally, just above the train tracks is a bridge with a circle in the middle of it. If you stand in the circle and talk, you will hear many echoes. Anyone not standing in that circle with you will not hear the echoes. Also a great spot for some pictures of the downtown skyline!
52. Tulsa Garden Center/Tulsa Rose Garden
Are you a fan of the botanical features of nature? Do you just enjoy beautiful scenery? This midtown treasure is absolutely full of beauty. Entry is free and visitors can also peruse the Tulsa Garden Center‘s library, featuring over 5,000 titles on botany and plant-related subjects.
53. XTreme Racing Go Karts
If you’re looking for a little more thrill for your outing, be sure to check out XTreme Racing. And we’re not talking about regular old go carts here. We’re talking about go carts that can be pushed to nearly 50 mph. Not for the faint of heart.
54. Downtown Tulsa’s Blue Dome District
Downtown Tulsa is home to several nightlife districts, but the Blue Dome District will always be the one that people think of when thinking of downtown fun. With several restaurants, bars, stores, and other creative businesses, there are plenty of choices for where you want to spend your money.
55. Margaret’s German Restaurant
At Margaret’s German Restaurant, you’re not only getting a taste of authentic German food — you’re getting a eating experience that is unlike anything else in Tulsa. I would highly recommend trying their Reuben or the weinerschnitzel. Both are delectable. They also sell high quality meats and cheeses out of their deli.
